Plan International Hong Kong is the national office of Plan International Inc., a global non-profit organisation whose aim is to advance a better quality of life for disadvantaged children and their families. We are looking for motivated candidates to join our team. 

1.
Senior Marketing and Communications Officer 
 
Working in the Marketing and Communications Department and reporting to the Communications Manager, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include but not necessarily be limited to the following areas:
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaign (both online and offline) to help promote the organisation’s child sponsorship program for acquiring monthly pledges
  • Work with vendors for the production of online/offline marketing communications materials
  • Coordinate and manage the web enhancement project with the IT Manager and other users so as to improve online fundraising transaction experience
  • Explore free channels for promotion of the organisation’s fundraising events
  • Generate regular reports and analyse through web analytics and metrics, track and monitor the performance of online promotion and fundraising campaigns
  • Work with the digital marketing vendors to maximize SEO/SEM performance
  • Support donor activities and organisation events
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
 
  • University degree with more than 5 years’ experience, preferably in sales and marketing
  • Proven ability in running integrated marketing campaigns with track records
  • Knowledge in website CMS and donation management system
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel,Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese 
  • Experience in working in the not-for-profit sector is an asset
  • Self-motivated, demonstrate a can-do attitude and goal driven
  • Occasional travel is required

Supporter Services Coordinator  
 
This position in the Supporter Services Department play a crucial role in delivering quality supporter / donor services through daily communications and supporter activities.
 
Reporting to the Donor Engagement Manager, the Supporter Services Coordinator works to deliver the developing Supporter Services strategy. It includes offering excellent supporter care through the incoming and outbound call and email handling. Supporter Services Coordinator will handle telemarketing activities, and hotline / email communication with donors, maintain quality donor information. This role also provides support for a program of inspiring supporter events serving the aim at developing a closer relationship between Plan International Hong Kong and its supporters. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Perform receptionist duties
  • Perform data entry job and follow up with donors via phone or email if necessary
  • Support daily hotline and email communication with donors as well as follow up work if necessary
  • Support donor activities and organisation events
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor 
Requirements:
 
  • F. 5 or above; Fluent in English and Cantonese; Fair in Putonghau
  • 3 years’ of related work experience 
  • Able to read and write both Chinese and English
  • Accurate typing skills in Chinese and English is a must
  • Good telephone manner and detail minds
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Agree with Plan International’s mission and vision and observe strictly to data privacy and policies of safeguarding children and young people

3.
Senior Communications Officer 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Write feature articles to communicate poverty issues and the organisation's work
  • Pitch/coordinate media interviews/arrange press conferences for the organisation’s spokesperson/ambassadors/donors to share about poverty issues and the organisation’s work
  • Prepare communications and publicity materials including interview Q&A, factsheet, press invitation, press release, event speech, script, leaflet etc.
  • Produce the organisation’s publications including newsletters and annual review
  • Manage website content
  • Act as a brand gatekeeper to ensure all marketing and communications materials are in line with the global branding guidelines
  • Establish good relations with different mass medium and columnists
  • Render support to crisis management
Requirements:
 
    • University degree in Chinese, Communications, Journalism, Translation or related discipline
    • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in communications and copywriting
    • Excellent Chinese written skill is a must, good English written skill preferred
    • Chinese requirement: Preferable with Grade C or above in Chinese of HKCEE or 5* in Chinese of HKDSE
    • A meticulous approach to work and an eye for detail
    • A team-player able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
    • Highly motivated and pro-active, demonstrate a can-do attitude
    • Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge of graphic software and videography an advantage
    • Occasional travel is required
Candidate with less experience may be considered for the post of Communications Officer

4.
Senior Advocacy and Campaign Officer 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Organise advocacy and education activities such as press conference, symposium, workshops, etc.
  • Assist the CEO in preparing speeches, talks and communications materials regarding the advocacy work targeting different stakeholders
  • Proactively response to local emergent child-issues, write articles to communicate local child-right/child protection issues
  • Design and produce campaign materials and digital content for policy recommendations, public awareness and education
  • Identify research topic, manage advocacy and research projects in areas of child-rights and child protection
  • Contribute innovative ideas that will increase visibility of the organization’s research and advocacy
  • Establish good relations with different external parties including government officials, politicians, professional bodies or pressure groups
  • Assist to plan and develop internal advocacy training programmes for internal colleagues and external community parties
  • Act as a gatekeeper to ensure all influencing materials are in line with the global policies and guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
 
    • University degree in social policy, journalism, education, social science related discipline
    • At least 4 years’ experience in  in similar role or demonstrated knowledge of relevant areas
    • Excellent English & Chinese oral and written communication skills
    • English requirement: Preferable with Grade C or above in English of HKCEE or 5* in English of  HKDSE
    • Knowledge of gender equality, child rights and child protection
    • Highly motivated and quick learner, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills, highly organised and demonstrate a can-do attitude
    • Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge of graphic software and digital production for campaigns is an advantage
    • Occasional travel is required
    • Agree with Plan’s mission and vision and observe strictly to data privacy and child safeguarding policies

5.
Senior Partnership Officer
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist in project proposal writing and liaise with Plan International’s country offices to ensure project qualities are meeting donors’ expectation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with major donors (e.g. corporates, institutions) and maintain up-to-date mapping on donor contacts, trends and opportunities
  • Actively market Plan International to donors through visits and attendance at various CSR events and participation in NGO working groups.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
 
    • University degree in management, development, or social service related field
    • At least 5 years of experience in similar role or demonstrated knowledge of relevant areas
    • Demonstration of experience in proposal writing and fundraising, project implementation experience preferred
    • Knowledge of the various donors interests, priorities and requirements
    • Excellent English & Chinese oral and written communication skills
    • English requirement:Preferable with Grade C or above in English of HKCEE or 5* in English of  HKDSE
    • Advanced negotiating skills, conceptual and analytical skills
    • High level of computer proficiency
    • Occasional travel is required
